SHOWCASE AND EXHIBIT COMMITTEE

Showcase and Exhibit Committee shall be responsible for preparing a Preliminary Conference Showcase and Exhibit Budget and recommending a fee structure for the showcases and exhibit booths. This Committee shall work with the Emerging Talent and Trends Committee in the preparation of their recommendations and shall set aside several slots in the Showcase schedule for emerging talents.

The Committee shall also be responsible for developing a process for the selection of the talents for the Showcase, recommending in conjunction with the Emerging Talent and Trends Committee artists to showcase as well as the actual production of the Showcase and preparation of exhibit area, based on an approved schedule for each.

Additionally, the Committee shall also work closely with the Marketing/ Communication Committee to promote Showcase and exhibiting opportunities and announcement of the selection of showcase artists and trade show exhibitors.

MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

The Marketing and Communication Committee will be communicating with media, other groups, associations, etc. These responsibilities include but are not limited to providing input on IACEP’s website, e-newsletter, use of space in American Entertainment Magazine, and Conference promotion, as well as marketing IACEP Showcase and exhibit opportunities.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE

The Education Committee will work to develop online forums, educational topics for the newsletter and magazine, and will be a liaison with the Conference/Meeting Agenda Committee regarding roundtable discussions, educational seminars, and Conference speakers. The Committee will also seek to create a panel of experts (from our ranks) that would be charged with speaking at other industry meetings/events.

BEST PRACTICES/ETHICS COMMITTEE

The Ethics Committee will explore the development of a Code of Ethics for the Association
and work with other Committees to identify best practices to share with the membership via forums, website, newsletter, articles in American Entertainment Magazine and other publications, etc.

MEETING/EVENT LOGOSTICS & AGENDA COMMITTEE

The Meeting/Event Logostics & Agenda Committee shall have program planning responsibilities and shall work with staff on budget development for the IACEP General / Annual Meeting and other events. After the Board of Directors selects the City to host the Annual Conference and Trade Show, the Logistics Committee shall work with the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and IACEP staff to select a hotel and showcase facility for the Conference and Trade Show.

The Agenda Committee will also work with the Education Committee on the development of a proposed Agenda and once approved, they will be responsible for the implementation of the approved program. Additionally, the Committee shall work closely with the Marketing/ Communication Committee to promote Conference attendance.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICE COMMITTEE

The Membership Service Committee will will seek to identify particularly potential producer members and will work with the Marketing & Communication Committee to encourage these producer and industry related suppliers to join IACEP. The Committee will also explore means of adding value to the IACEP Membership based on IACEP Members input.

EMERGING TALENT AND TRENDS COMMITTEE

The Emerging Talent and Trends Committee will work to identify top quality emerging artists and to provide them with knowledge and support that only IACEP could offer. This group will determine what steps can be taken to reach out to these artists with the hope of determining how they can be included in IACEP’s Showcases and Exhibits. The Committee will also work to identify emerging trends. These trends, that are or will potentially impact the corporate entertainment industry, will be shared via forums, newsletters and conferences.

STANDARDIZATION COMMITTEE

Standardization Committee will work to develop best practices and the setting/distribution of industry standards such as riders, force majeure, rain clauses and insurance clauses for the betterment of the coporate entertainment industry.

TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

The Technology Committee will work to identify new state-of-the-art technology programs that will help keep our website and our membership up-to-date. This includes identifying new developing technology that may enhance IACEP member’s lives and the day to day operation of their companies.
